To my dearest Nanny

it's hard to imagine life without you. You were a loving, caring, honest, strong woman who I always looked up to from a very young age, you and Granddad were the best grandparent's I could have ever wished for. I'll never forget the good times, the sleep overs, Friday Nights and the infamous parties. The Babycham served at the Bar in Payne Avenue and all the wonderful memories I'll keep tucked inside forever.

Sleep tight Nanny and give Granddad a kiss for me.

Your loving Granddaughter Claire xxx

It's hard to imagine you not being here and not being able to pop to the bungalow to say 'hello'. You were one of the strongest women I know and I will always look up to you. Thank you for loving and caring about every person that stepped into your home (you even gave my best friend pocket money when she came to visit) . The parties were fabulous, getting into mischief with Cheryl, and the punch was fantastic (even if I was only 8)! You and Granddad were central to our family and I Thank you for that. If I can be half the woman you were, I would be proud! Give granddad a squeeze from me. Love you both to the moon and back! X
